More about this tour
Get familiar with Zagreb city centre, tick off all the must-sees, learn more about the history of the Croatian capital, and find out how locals live nowadays.
The 2-hour walk starts every day at 10 am in front of the big horseman statue at the main city square - Ban Jelacic Square. You will find out all the interesting information about all the must-sees, such as the 13th century Stone Gate, St. Mark's Square with the iconic St. Mark's Church, or Zagreb Cathedral.
We'll get to the top of the Lotrščak Tower, the best viewpoint in the whole city. It's an ideal location for great photos of the Old Town on one side and Downtown on the other side of the viewpoint. One of the highlights will be a ride with one of the world's shortest funiculars, as well as a walk through the underground tunnels built by the fascists during the Second World War.
We'll also visit Dolac - the largest green market in the city is our next stop. Colors, aromas, people form a lively and lovely sight. The walk ends at the same place it has started - at the main square.
