After our stay in Zagreb, the tour continues for a day trip to the northern part of Croatia, called Croatian Uplands where you will visit the Old Town of Varaždin, Trakošćan Castle and Kumrovec Village - the birthplace of the former Yugoslavian leader Josip Broz Tito.

Halfway through our trip to the Croatian coast lies another breathtaking site - the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the most popular UNESCO Heritage Site in Croatia.

The next stop in Zadar, a beautiful ancient town at the seaside. After spending a day in the city with the nicest sunset in the world, according to Alfred Hitchcock, the tour continues towards Split, another ancient town famous for the Diocletian Palace, another UNESCO Heritage Site. During your stay in Split, you can visit the Island of Hvar and explore the Old Town of Hvar, inhabited from Ancient Greek times.

The final stop is Dubrovnik, the most famous city in Croatia as well as a UNESCO Heritage Site. After checking all of Dubrovnik’s must-see sights, you can visit the nearby Pelješac peninsula, a heaven on Earth for all wine lovers.

Day 1

Arrival to Zagreb

Arrival at Zagreb International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Hotel check-in. Free time for some rest and lunch. A 2-hour walking tour of Zagreb during which you will find out more about the hidden gems of the Croatian capital. Free time for dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2

Zagreb

Morning arrival in Zagreb. Transfer to the hotel followed by a short break. A 4-hour moderate walk, a combination of the Old Town sightseeing tour and a food tour. Free time for lunch. Optional Croatian Homeland War Tour in the afternoon. Free time in the evening for personal programmes and dinner. Organising a dinner at a traditional Croatian restaurant is also possible. Overnight stay.
Day 3

Day trip to Croatian Uplands

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to the northern, continental part of Croatia, called Zagorje. A 1-hour ride to Trakoščan Castle, the best-preserved castle in the whole country. After visiting the castle, the tour continues to Varaždin, the Baroque capital of Croatia. Free time for lunch and shopping in the city. On the way back to Zagreb, we’ll stop in Kumrovec Village - the oldest ethno village in Croatia, but also the birthplace of the leader of ex-Yugoslavia – Josip Broz Tito. Early evening arrival in Zagreb. Overnight stay.
Day 4

Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes - Zadar

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Rastoke Ethno Village and the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site. A 4-hour walk around the crystal-clear Lakes, a train ride to the great waterfall and a boat ride across the Big Lake. Free time for lunch before departure towards the coast (short breaks for coffee and toilet during transfer are included). Late afternoon / early evening arrival in Zadar. Hotel check-in. Overnight stay.
Day 5

From Zadar to Split

Breakfast at the hotel. A 2-hour walking tour of Zadar in the morning. Free time for lunch. Afternoon departure to Split (short breaks for coffee and toilet during transfer are included). Hotel check-in. Overnight stay.
Day 6

Day trip to Hvar

Breakfast at the hotel. A half-day excursion to the Island of Hvar by regular ferry line or catamaran. A visit to the Old Town of Hvar, which has been inhabited since Ancient Greek times. A 1.5-hour walking tour of Hvar. Free time for lunch (possible to incorporate free time for the beach). Upon our afternoon arrival in Split, a 2-hour walking tour of the city. Free time for dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 7

From Split to Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel check-out. Transfer to Dubrovnik (short breaks for coffee and toilet during transfer are included). Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, shopping at the supermarket and drop-off at the Villa. Free time for some rest and personal programmes (the beach, shopping, museums, etc.). Overnight stay.
Day 8

Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel. A 3.5-hour walking tour of Dubrovnik, which includes a visit to the Old City Walls and the Lovrijenac Fortress. Free time for lunch and personal programmes (the beach, shopping, museums, etc.). Overnight stay.
Day 9

Day trip to Pelješac Peninsula

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure for a day trip to the Pelješac peninsula – one of the most scenic landscapes in Croatia, famous for its long wine producing tradition. Wine tasting at two different wineries. Transfer back to Dubrovnik with expected afternoon arrival. Free time for dinner. Overnight stay.

Departure from Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel check-out. Transfer to Dubrovnik Airport. Departure.
