More about this tour
The Old Zagreb Private Walking Tour is the best way to experience Zagreb, relive its history and feel the pulse of a modern city. Our licensed guides will take you on a stroll through the oldest streets of Zagreb, visiting all the main sights while combining historical facts with the everyday life of a big city.
The tour takes guests to both Gradec and Kaptol, two medieval settlements Zagreb was founded on. Standing on two opposing hills, they testify to the history of cooperation and conflicts that created Zagreb as we know it today.
While walking along the cobbled streets visitors will get to see the 13th century Stone Gate, St. Mark's church with its famous colorful rooftop, the Lotrščak Tower still marking noon with a cannon shot, the Bloody Bridge which has witnessed many battles through the ages, the monumental Zagreb Cathedral and many more. At the end of the tour, our guests will feel like they know Zagreb by heart, ready to explore everything the city has to offer.
A standard route can be modified according to the guests' requests and interests (pick-up and drop-off spots etc.).
